6th & Hill
Pershing Square, I've come to learn, is not just a park located in downtown Los Angeles, but apparently has also been the source of some controversy. In the early 1990s it underwent a major renovation, partly in an attempt to dissuade homeless people from populating it at all hours of the day and night. That attempt failed, of course, and the modern design is allegedly regarded as ugly by most locals and tourists. I say pay a visit (during daylight hours) and judge for yourself.
Several buildings in view here, including the Title Guarantee Building, U.S. Bank Tower, The Gas Company Tower, The Millennium Biltmore Hotel, and Two California Plaza.
